AI voiceover company stole voices of actors, New York lawsuit claims
Voice actors Paul Skye Lehrman and Linnea Sage have sued AI company Lovo, claiming the startup illicitly used their voices in its AI voiceover products without permission. The lawsuit, filed in Manhattan federal court, accuses Lovo of fraud, false advertising, and violating publicity rights. The actors allege they were misled into providing voice samples, which were then sold under different names. They seek at least $5 million in damages and aim to protect others from similar exploitation.
